Don’t think I have made a work in progress post for a while, but here is what is currently on my painting table.

Basing my Infinity: Part 2
After posting my Pathfinder Dronbot up on-line, I got a lot of positive comments about the base it is mounted on. I figured I would do a small series of articles about how I go about making the bases for my Infinity models. This is the second of 3 intended posts talking about my Infinity base toppers.
- “Basing my Infinity: Part 1“
- Casting my bases.
- Painting bases. “Basing my Infinity: Part 3“
Hopefully I’ll show you how I went about creating the bases that I am using on my Panoceania models.

I figured I would do a small series of articles about how I go about making the bases for my Infinity models. I intend this to be the first of 3 posts talking about my Infinity base toppers. Something along the lines of this:
- Making the bases.

Hopefully that will show you how I went about creating this style of base that I am using on my Panoceania models.
Infinity: Pathfinder Dronbot
This is my entry into the Data Sphere Forum’s Fall Painting Challenge. This quarter’s challenge was to paint a specialist of one form or another, my entry is a Panoceania Pathfinder Dronbot. This counts as Forward Observer specialist and for me makes a change form painting infantry, which my previous entries have all been.
I don’t hold out much hope of winning this quarter’s challenge as there are some outstanding painters on those forums. But I am very happy with how this model has turned out, especially given how little time I spent on it this month. Maybe I am starting to speed up in my painting 😉
